This phone strap is handmade from three materials that could hardly be more different: warm sandalwood, porous lava stone, and moonstone with its milky, inward-looking shimmer.

Lava Stone – the Scent Carrier
When lava solidifies, it traps gas bubbles. What remains are fine pores, and these are exactly what absorb essential oil and release it slowly. One to two drops per bead are sufficient.

Moonstone – and the Nights of the Celts
The Celts counted their time not by days, but by nights. That is how Julius Caesar describes the Gauls. The Coligny calendar, a bronze tablet from the 2nd century, divides every month into a light and a dark half, following the moon. And Pliny reports that the Druids cut mistletoe on the sixth day of the moon.

We do not know if the Celts themselves knew of the moonstone. The sources are silent on this, and we say so honestly. Its name comes from a different tradition: Greeks and Romans believed it was created from moonlight.

And today? Our everyday life runs by the clock, and it is bright around the clock in many places. The moonstone on your strap is a reminder of an older way of reckoning time. Every waxing is followed by a waning, and rest is not a standstill – it is part of the rhythm.

Moonstone and lava stone are natural stones. Color and structure vary, which is why every strap is one-of-a-kind.

Good to know: Apply essential oils only to the lava beads, not to the wood or moonstone, as oil can permanently discolor them. Do not apply undiluted to the skin. When the scent fades, simply add more drops to the beads. Contains small parts, please keep away from children. A wellness ritual, not a medicinal remedy.
